Design Services

Other than manufacturing of heat exchangers, FRHE is also capable of providing heat transfer calculations SERVICES with complete Thermal Process Design, Rating and Evaluation in accordance to acceptable heat transfer methology and industrial practices. We use proven research based softwares for both thermal and mechanical calculations in order to come up with cost effective and optimized designs for Heat Exchangers and Pressure Vessels. Our clientele for this service are usually Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) companies and also research based companies. Relevant International codes and standards are ASME Section VIII Div 1 and 2, API-RP579, PD5500, EN 13445, TEMA and API 661.

General Repair

General Repair

FRHE has the expertise and know-how to repair most heat exchanger damages or leakages. Our team will first study the extent of the damage/leakage and identify how it occurred. A report will then be produced with recommendation whether to do repair work or replace the heat exchanger altogether and also list out preventative measures for future purposes. Site visits can also be arranged if the heat exchanger(s) are still in operation.

Shell and Tube Retubing

Shell and Retubing

FRHE has the capabilities to do retubing work in a satisfactory and timely manner be it onsite or offsite. Our skilled personnel can perform retubing for just a selective few tubes or the complete tube bundle. In addition to retubing, we can also supply replacement shell, bonnet, tubesheet, expansion joint etc. Hydrotesting will also be done to ensure that the S&T has no leakages after completion of job. FRHE retubing procedures are in compliance with international engineering standards and our experts will often propose the most appropriate repair plan based on the extent and cause of the damage.
