Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE)
FRHE is able to design and supply custom built heat exchangers for special applications where conventional heat exchanger types may not be suitable. For duties that require compact size, high heat transfer efficiency, high pressure capability or special process requirements, Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers can be considered.
A Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger is a compact type of heat exchanger constructed using specially formed flow channels within metal plates. The flow channels are designed to create efficient heat transfer between the hot and cold fluids while maintaining a very compact equipment size compared to conventional heat exchanger designs.
This heat exchanger type is suitable for applications where space limitation, high operating pressure, high temperature, process efficiency and reliability are important. It can be designed for various gas to gas, gas to liquid and liquid to liquid applications depending on the process requirement.
FRHE can provide custom designed Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers based on process duty, operating pressure, operating temperature, material requirement and site condition. Material selection can be recommended based on the fluid composition, corrosion requirement and design condition.
The characteristics of our design include:
- Compact and efficient construction
- High heat transfer performance
- Suitable for high pressure and high temperature applications
